About
Mr. Saifur Rahaman is a NE PhD Research Fellow in MGH at Harvard Medical School, USA, and Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Hong Kong SAR. He received his BSc in Engineering (2010) and MS in Engineering (2012) from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of computer science and engineering at the International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC) and a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the City University of Hong Kong. He has published more than ten research papers on bioinformatics, expert systems, machine learning, and biomedical engineering. His current research interests include not limited to computational intelligence in bioinformatics, new techniques, tools, and methods for bioinformatics, machine learning, cancer genomics, computation in therapeutic cancer treatment, computational biology, biomedical informatics, clinical decision-making, detection, and prediction models. He is an associate editor of Computational Genomics in the Frontiers in Genetics journal (2021 – present).
